- The sum of four consecutive numbers is 62. Make an equation and solve for the numbers.
- Study: evaluating (solving) expressions and equations, table of value, term number/figure number, making your own expressions and equations, variables, constants
- Review all homework questions: -pg 276,277,280,281,283,286,287,290,291,297,299
- English - Final Poster for Water Bottles essay
- -include a creative title and headings (intro, b.p#1, b.p.#2, b.p.#3, conc. etc.)
- -poster should have a rough draft (with obvious evidence of THOROUGH proofreading) and then a good copy
- -references can be posted on the back
- -Posters must be complete when you ENTER THE CLASSROOM on Monday
- English - journal entry on Bullying:
- 1) What does bullying mean to you? Describe or list all forms of bullying that you can think of at school, in your community or online.
- 2) Briefly describe an incident that you have been involved in or witnessed where someone was bullied at school, in your community or online.
- 3) Describe, in detail, how the person being bullied felt in this situation.
- 4) Describe why you think the bully acted they way they did.
- 5) What should you do if you witness someone else being bullied?
- 6) What should you do if you feel that you are being bullied?
- 7) Respond to the following statement (agree or disagree and explain why): “If you see someone being bullied and you walk away, you are no better than the person doing the bullying.” Have a great weekend!
