1.What elements (parts/things) could be included in a strong introduction for a persuasive essay?
2.Choose one topic (that you have not chosen before) and make a t-chart of pros and cons. Try to think of as many arguments for and against as you can.

Example: Due to the fact that it is very expensive, difficult to install and not really needed in the summertime, since students are not even at school, I do not think (I do not feel/it would be a bad decision for) that Willowdale Middle School should use Geothermal energy for heating and cooling.
