Journal Entry on Poetry - due friday
1. IN YOUR OWN WORDS explain what poetry is.
2. Describe (NOT LIST!) at least three different TYPES of poems. If you do not know three different types of poems, use the internet to research some.
3. Find a poem at home or online. Write out the poem and the name of the author, as well as the source of the poem (book or website).Read the poem two or three times.
4. Explain what you think the author has done to make this poem interesting to the reader.
5. Is there anything you feel that the author could have done to make the poem more interesting?
