Data Management Assignment: Part 1
1.With your partner, design a survey question. Try to focus on opinion-type questions.
2.Decide upon a sample group that you feel will give you BIASED results. Clearly explain why the sample group chosen would give you BIASED results.
3. Use any form of graph or chart that you are familiar with (ie. stem-leaf, frequency table, bar graph, pie chart) to show the PREDICTED RESULTS of your survey question, if you ask the BIASED sample group. Properly label and title your graph. You may use Microsoft Excel to make the graph, if you wish.
4.With your partner, decide upon a way, or several ways, to change the sample group, question, or both, to make it AS UNBIASED AS POSSIBLE. BE VERY SPECIFIC about your changes.
5.Explain, in detail, how the changes made in question #4 will make your results UNBIASED or LESS BIASED.
6.Draw another graph or chart representing the results you predict for your unbiased question and sample group.
***The answers for your
project MUST be typed out.
