Place: Place, relative location, absolute location, landmarks(natural versus man-made), global positioning systems (GPS), longitude versus latitude, how to use a scale on a map, alphanumeric grids (what they are and how to use them), hemispheres (north, south, west,east), compass rose (compass directions - ie. N,S,W,E,NW,SW,NNW,SSE, etc.)
Movement: Container freight systems, common shipping methods for freight, public transportation (pros and cons)
Geography - read and understand pages #22-28

- BEDMAS powerpoint must be printed by Thursday (no extensions - ask Mr. Mak if you need to print it at school)

•All steps in your solution are clearly shown (4)

•Your slide is neat and appealing (4)
